  • "Chinese New Year Platter" by Tony Smith.

  • Central image sand carved out of Bullseye red thin and tack fused to the two layer base. Aztec Gold mica used for lettering and borders. The central background is matte while the outer background is glossy.

  • The central image is the Chinese shou which is a symbol for longevity, surrounded by 5 bats, pien fu, which stand for the five blessings: age, health, wealth, virtue and a natural death. The pictograms on the outside represent the twelve years of the Chinese zodiac.
