I am working on a Paragon GL24 kiln and need to replace the top elements. The only way I can see to install the new ones is to insert them through the kiln wall from the outside at the location where the twisted terminal leads connect to the AC wiring. Anyone have any experience here?

I am working on a Paragon S1030 fusing kiln; it has the standard Sentry 2.0 controller along with two infinite control switches which have settings of OFF, LOW, MED, HIGH. Does anyone know how these infinite control switches should be set?

I am thinking to add a small stainless washer to a kiln element (Kanthal) tail as it passes out of the kiln in order to prevent the tail from cutting into the soft firebrick. Can I use stainless or do I have to go the ceramic route? Thanks....Mike
