Re: reflective backing?

If the adhesive will stick to a painted surface it might be OK. But if the adhesive instructions say to remove any paint, then it probably won't work.

Re: reflective backing?

Rust-Oleum makes a spray paint for this. It gets applied to the back, after firing. Also needs a clear coat after the reflective finish is applied. Read and follow the directions. It doesn't give a mirror-like finish but it does reflect. It also seems to highlight every little imperfection in the gl...

Bubble

I'm sometimes getting a large bubble when fusing this piece, the long dimension is 12 inches. Fired on Papyros, my usual full-fuse program that works fine with smaller pieces, and sometimes works fine with this size. Any ideas what causes this?

Re: Tack fused 24x24 not flat

I had a similar problem ... Youghiogheny 96, piece was about 10 x 12 inches. After full fuse it seemed not quite flat. Re: Gloves

Mine came from Home Depot, in the tools section. They're marked "Premium Defense." Thinner than gardening gloves. Much thicker than latex or medical gloves - I wouldn't expect these to provide any protection from glass as they're designed to block dirt, bacteria and viruses.

Re: Controlling my new Bartlet controller

Assuming you have the color touch screen controller ...

First load the program you want to change
Then touch Edit
From here you can touch the value you want to change and it should prompt for the new value.
Remember to save it when you're done.

Hope this helps
