Is your cutter dry?
Who old is it?

Score a mirror and look at the score line - if you see any gaps replace it.

Other than that - you have a crispy sheet - T glass or end run.

Get a new sheet and a new cutter - besides - You're worth it!

If you need to make a bunch (20+) of the same sand casting it would be more economical to make one sand casting- pull an alginate from it and have a metal mold created. You end up with the look of sand with a perminent mold. There are a lot of factors - undercut - 2 part - thickness - finish ...... ...

Check the fuse on the controller with a meter.
Check the breaker.
Turn it on and check the leads (you have to open the controller) going to the elements - should read voltage.

No reading =broken element

(If your not use to trouble shooting power - call a friend with a meter)

Aloha

80-10-10 sand/bent/water but you need to mull the hell out of it - I use my truck to run it over a few times. You also should use a steel frame and pack it with a ram. The mold has to be heated to 200 for about 8 hours to get all the water out before you charge or you will have big bubbles in your g...

Dates

Dating a piece is not a good idea - Date Codes Are. It allow you to not only authenticate a piece as your but also gives a date of creation.

day 1=a 2=b 3=c
month 1=12 2=11 3=10
year w=2001 y=2002 z=2010

V12S = 1/12/2004

You have to be consistant and it can be any combination you want.

Tony - Are you saying that 15000 watts or 612 watts per cubic foot get you to 1450 in under 3 hours? Is your board on the hot surface or the outside? Two layers of brick would be 5" or are you using 3" brick? Do you use many small kiln shelves or one large one? I casted the mizu to be the ...

As a store owner - I would encourage you to visit your local glass store. Yes the price may be more but buying online takes money out of your local economy and in the long run may reduce the number of local glass suppliers in your area. I can tell you that over the past five years I have had one pri...

Problem: Third ramp was 960 to 75 in 4 hours. Actual time to 75 was 27 hours. Not much good for daily produc...
