Hi Susan, I wonder why you didn't get the letter. Hadn't checked the board and just saw your question- but I guess you already checked on the fee increase. Let me know if you find a better source, and I'll keep looking, too.

I have been using Discover and have been happy with them until now. Just received a letter from them in the last two weeks that due to increased costs they were going to start charging a monthly minimum discount of $20.00 and they were also increasing other fees. As I limit my shows to about six a y...

thanks Tony! What have you found to be the best sizes? Lynne, I have never heard of kiln washing the bracelet mold- only using fiber paper. I've used thinfire with great success-just put wire around to hold it. If you use thicker fiber paper you need to put it on the mold and prefire to 1200F before...

I know I can make them larger with fiber paper, but the chart is supposed to give more exact measurements regarding wrist size, number of layers, etc. I was trying to get this more specific info.

Kiln Formed Bracelet Sizing

I am making some bracelets Jayne Persico style. I bought her video and it alludes to a chart for making several different sizes on the same bracelet mandrel. The bracelet kit I bought was second hand and did not include this chart. Is anyone willing to share this info???? Thanks for any help!

I use an oil candle- you know the kind that you fill with 99% liquid wax paraffin. I don't get any soot on the stringers by using this and holding just slightly above the flame-twisting and turning as it melts. You can get some tight squiggles if you start to turn just as it starts to bend.

Hi Steve, I fire a fair amount of PMC with my glass. I always use thinfire under the piece and I have a separate kiln shelf that I use just for PMC/glass firings. I have not had any trouble with silver staining on the glass with this method. I also only use PMC3 and the minimal firing temp of 1100 f...

Hi Y'all! This is my first post, but I've been one of those lurkers for a long time. I want to thank everyone for being so helpful on this board- I've learned sooooooo much. Now for my question. I'm getting ready to do some indoor shows and need to put together a new booth. There are alot of options...
