I soo pleased to inspire, hmm very nice slump you have have ! I dont know if I would call that devit. It's looks like more of a hase than a Crystalization. I've slumped some temperd candle holders and got that effect its real sweet. :) My attemps on Getting devit all failed, the devit gods are again...

I've been asked to make some 4' and 2 inch square tiles for a washroom from tempered chunks devitrified. I have come to the conclusion that the amount of devit I get may depend where the float came from. -Does a "cloudier" tinside mean your going to have more/less devit ? -Can anyone tell ...

Bert, what if I mixed in some garden style Vermiculite in thier I've seen that done here at a local Glass shop , they say it makes you P/S mold last for more firings. :)

your right though Gabber is probably a better way to go . :) thanks

I'd say if I fire it really hot it might work (1675 or so), looking at my tacked Bottle pieces that I already tested to tack !

has anyone had any problems with fusing bottles together then Slumping them into a kool form ? Any certain bottles brands to avoid ? I was thinking of putting a hole bunch of (Rolling Rock) bottles together and slumping them in a wavey mold (bulls eyes) Any suggeestions or comments on this before I ...

I've tried all three methods, when you Air brush you get a relly nice finish. Worth a try if your used to thinfire. Patience is a virtue in this method , you actiually gota like airbrushing. It takes a while

where can I find a sink slumper

I've been looking all over to find a Slumper for sink blanks. I was looking for a 22-20 inch stainless bowl with a flat and a rounded bottom, anyelse know where ther're at. I was thing of trying a huge wok, but I'd rather use a peice meant for fusing. Thanks a bunch Tyler
