stainless floral former

I just bought a cple of new stainless floral former and Hitemp1800
Sprayed them, fired them to 700.
Put glass on when cold, set in kiln with some that I have had for years, the glass on new former stuck and broke, older ones were fine.
Any ideas?
tks
