Tulsa Fuser
Yea Paula. I'm from Tulsa and we've met in a class at Waterworks. I lost your card you gave me at Homestead. Are you going to the Glass Expo March 17th in Vegas? Let me know. My printer is out of ink so I caan't print your tutorial, but you're very nice to share it with us. Thanks, Ginny Graham at Q...

sink molds
Where can I get a mold for a sink? Are most of them a standard size? And finally, can you use stainless bowls from Walmart? Thanks, Ginny

Glass Expo
Quill, I'll be there too. I'm not sure on the classes as most of them seemed very expensive to me. A couple of them were reasonable but the supply fee was too large for me. It looks like you have a big budget for classes. Since I can't afford the glasses, could I maybe hookup with you at the show an...

blonds/White Out
Does dyed blond count as blond? I'm digging the conversation on this whiteout. It's true. Everything is toxic or hasn't proven to be non-toxic over a period of time. I say, let's just throw all kinds of junk on our glass and see what happens! I'll probably die of all the dye i've put on my head over...

I've been told that when I fuse larger pieces, the elements on the side won't spread heat evenly enough to the center of the piece to prevent cracking. The idea is that the top elements are an equal distance to all areas of the flat piece. I hear fusing small pieces with side elements doesn't matter...

kiln for ceramics & glass
I need to buy a kiln fast and need some advice on one that can fire for ceramics (cone 10) and has a top element that you can switch on & off for glass work. I hear Olympic will ad a top element for extra $ but I can't find anyone that has actually ordered one that way. I need one big enough to ...

Hi Jackie. I'm new here but I wondered if you have sandwiched silver? I do some work with silver wire (some very thick like 14 guage) and it tends to create a yellow color. That doesn't surprise me because of the component of yellow glass is silver I think. What i'm having trouble with is the silver...
