Patty Gray Mold

I just purchased one of the Patty Gray Dam Mold. I kiln washed it and then found some instructions on the web that indicated to use boron nitrate. Is kiln washed and then lining with shelf paper ok to use?

Scratch on final product

After coming home from a show, I noticed a small scratch on top of my item. Normally, I would put it back in the kiln and polish it but I have glued cabochons on the bottom with E6000. Any suggestion on how to fix the scratch or how to loosen up E6000 between 2 pieces of glass? Thanks.

Re: Attaching glass to stainless steel

I am thinking of using plexiglass to attach fused glass to Aluminum. For the back, looking at different stand off systems. Any suggestions on what type might be good?

Attaching glass to stainless steel

I am wanting to attach fused glass tiles to stainless steel or aluminum after using a dremel tool on the metal. Any suggestions on what to use. Also, thinking about trying to put something behind the glass to add some depth. Also, looking for suggestions on what to put on the back so it can be hung....

Spectrum Icicle Glass

Has anyone used Spectrum Icicle glass and do you seem a lot difference between it and X100?

Molds for fusing

I thought I had read that you could use a ceramic or porcelain object from your kitchen for glass fusing. How do you prep the object for slumping?
