fusing neon tubes
I've got a bunch of broken green neon tubes I'd like to fuse. Has anyone tried this? I'm wondering what sort of glass they're typically made of (what coe). The phosphorous coating on the inside cleans off pretty easily, I intend to crush them into frit and cast into small pieces. Any thoughts? thank...

Dilute Elmers at least 50%. The manufacturers claim that the glue burns off and leaves no residue but I haven't found this to be true. Glue on the surface usually burns off completely, but I have seen residue when the glue is trapped between layers - especially between clear. Just be careful how an...

Hi,
I fire polished some cabs that I had shaped with my ringsaw, and while they came out nice and smooth, there is a whitish scummy haze around the edges where I made cuts. How can I get rid of this?
