I think Tony & Brock's suggestions are the best ideas. But I have loosened a piece of glass that slumped too tightly to a ceramic floral former by laying a towel over the whole thing and striking it lightly at the top with a rubber mallet. Sounded crazy to me at the time, but I tried it anyway. ...

Thought I'd share a couple problems I had with my stainless steel rings - a little off subject. For my first project with my rings, I filled it with bits of glass and lots of frit. I loved the look once it was fused, but 2 things happened to ruin it for me. First, the ring didn't stay circular, so m...

I love your pot melts - especially the orange one. I, too, was interested in the stands. Thanks for sharing. The double border definitely gives them distinctiveness & elegance. Glad the galleries are paying attention!

I kept having a similar problem - but I was getting rather large bubbles sometime. I examined my shelves for an uneven surface, but didn't see any irregularities. However, thinfire solved my problem. Since I never figured out which of my shelves was the culprit, I always use thinfire under my projec...

Lime Away works for removing fiber paper from the back of bottles. At least it worked for me when only a little bit of fiber paper stuck.

Gold bails

Hi-

I sent Aanraku an e-mail because they sell 2 sizes of sterling silver bails. They sent me a prompt reply stating that they will be selling 18k gold plated bails sometime around the first of May.

Yeah!!
