Helios Glass publishes an ebook of stands and mounting techniques that discusses the L-hook technique. The tip of the hook is visible, no getting around that, but surprisingly not distracting to the piece. in my experience. Yes, a great discussion!

I am curious, Brock, why you add the clear layer. Is it aesthetic or functional? Does it help fill in the gaps and chinks (if there are any) in the PB slices?
