thanks geri and carolyn, i did try creative glass, she had never heard of it. i'll try bath potters (and calling it high temp wire) and post for others if i find it.

i hear a lot of people talk about fusing nichrome wire into glass but i cant find a uk wire/metal dealer that even knows what it is let alone stocks it. i was wondering if it goes by another name over here? any ideas you guys?

does anyone know of a retiler in the uk carrying ferro sunshine paints? if not a web site anywhere would be great. thanks

i use dip n etch to etch my float glass, expensive though it last quite a long time.

um....i wish i knew how to send photos so i can show you guys what i mean. perhaps i will look into that and get back to you. thanks for your ideas cynthia, i think daylight is the route to take.

a hanging= a web of glass pieces suspended in the air causing people to exclaim
'cor blimey, luv a duck, this ere's proper jubbly init!

i make glass jewellery, a bit of tableware and lots of hangings. my problem is tha while i can get really good photos of everything else my hanging always come out with light bouncing all over the place or , under difused light, rather dead . is there anyone out there that has overcome this problem?...
