The edges are very sharp! I can't remember the annealing schedule because it's pulgged in and I use it over and over unless it's an extremely deep piece. When I get home, I'll check it out and post it on thi sthread.

I suppose it was the annealing. That's what I sort of assumed!

Spectrum Slump/Fire Polish Temp?

Question... this relates to using Spectrum glass. If I want to slump and fire polish at the same time, what temp do I need to go to after the slump and for how long?

SS Rings

Has anyone heard from Matt Hoppes (the guy who makes the stainless steel rings) lately?

Or... Does anyone have any similar resources to his rings?

I received an email from them last week. Their "internet warehouse" is provided by Yahoo. Apparently Yahoo had some sort of error and corrupted their stuff. The email stated that it would be a week or so before they would be back up again. They suggested that people call.

Drop Ring Material

What would you suggest as the best (or perhaps the simplest) material to use to make my own drop rings?

Thanks, Ross

Yeah, I was wondering if I should sandblast the surface in an attempt to remove the haze. I'm afraid I'll damage the wafer!

Too Much Super Spray

I've used entirely too much Super Spray on a large wafer that sits on top of a 16" piece. Any suggestions as to how to eliminate the haze nd save the wafer part of the piece?
