Anyone use "527 Cement" to Glue on Bails to Fused
Has anyone used this product? I was told by my stained glass store that it is very good for fusing bails to glass (fused). I've been using E6000 and it sometimes comes off with humidity and perspiration. Any one have 527 experience?

Need Firing Schedule for small thick paperweight & tile
Hi, I have a Jen Ken 14/6 and I normally fire jewelry size pieces (larges is 2" x 2"), my firing schedule is simple, 300 dph to 1375, hold for 20 minutes, 400 dph to 200, hold for 1 minute, off. Now I want to expand my horizons and fire a paperweight mold which measures approx. 5 inches by...

Need Simple Water Feed Setup for Grinder
Can anyone suggest a VERY simple set up for setting up a bottle of water to intermittently drip on my glass while grinding. No matter what I do, I find that I need more and more water when I grind. I thought of purchasing a splash guard from Delphi glass and hooking up a water bottle to drip. Any ot...

Sticker Adhesive Problem
I've tried Mineral Spirits, the goo stays. I am using a very expensive coated adhesive back paper that is very smooth when etching with an exacto knife. The problem is, as I indicated in my previous post, that after it's etched and armoured, when the sticker is removed, it has a NASTY sticky paste o...

Etching, Carving, Engraving on Dichro Glass
I am wanting to draw, etch, carve symbols and pictures onto my dichro glass and have it there after firing. Is there a special way to do this? I have a dremel and I'm not sure if it is as simple as using the dremel on dichro, making a symbol, capping it with clear and firing it. Is there a better wa...

Where to Buy Bullseye Kiln Wash ???
Please direct me to an on line vendor who is very reliable for me to purchase BE Kiln Wash. It seems that you are all so happy with this kiln wash and I, too struggle with a lesser quality of wash. Thanks.

Need basic help on preparing to slump simple project....
I've never slumped before. I want to slump a small vase with some dichroic. Do you FIRST have to fire the glass (fuse) before slumping? Also, how do you determine the exact size and shape to place over the mold? Is there a slumping for idiots tutorial or video I can get my hands on? Thanks.

AGAIN - Leaving Kiln w/Bartlett 3 Controller
Can those that have a Bartlett 3 Controller (my new Kiln is Jen Ken 14 inch, 120 Volt, 17 Amp) answer my previously posted question: Do you leave the house/studio while the kiln is on? Has anyone ever had the Bartlett 3 key controller fail and start to ramp up without stop? Thanks.

Can you Leave while the Kiln (w/Controller) is ON?
I'd like to hear everyone's opinions. Do you leave your house (shopping, errands, etc., or studio for that matter) while your kiln with programmed controller is running? I just got a 14 inch Jen Ken (from Marty - Centre DeVerre - YAY! HE'S GREAT!) and it has a Bartlett 3 key controller. I've heard a...

Uroboros 90 coe Clear Caps on Dichroic Pendants
I was told that Uroboros machine rolled and hand rolled clear glass as a clear cap makes dichroic pendants unbelievably clear after fusing. Does anyone have any experience with this glass for this purpose? My bullseye caps are not as clear as the Uroboros. Thanks.
