Charlie, what do you mean? Yes I think it slumped all the way down the first time .. so what are you saying ? that if so whatever air was below the edge got caught and couldn't get out of the 2 pin holes? Not clogged by the way .. not on stilts first or second time...

I can't figure where it came from either, Brock .... the 2 pin holes at the slump bottom was clear.. nothing else in the kiln etc... it's ready for a pattern bar now - but I wanted to see how I could avoid in the future.. Can I fire Paradise paints twice?

Well the 1st paint fire of red on BE glass at 1150 - is matte as promised...also ugly. The sandblasted part stayed... but as Tony said, just risk it and cut & blast the rim details again!.

Does anyone know if I can re-fire the red to 1350 and it will come up to glossy?
thanks

IT's BE glass and sandblasted details (light etch)..Thanks for the temp. insight..and I do remember all of the McDonald and sadly - the jetsons colored glasswear. thanks!

I'm going to look into these suggestions! I know I can't open the doorway as removing the frame still wouldn't give me enough clearance and Paragon's specs say that you need 33" clear... but I didn't ask if the door could come off - I;ll try that and look into the jen. I don't know anybody that...
