Hi Tom that looks so neat....

So you slumped the bottle first and then painted it. How high a temp did you need to go with for the paints.... just wondering and how do you like this brand of paint.

I've made LOTS of wall pockets - I use 2-3 layers of 1/8" fiber paper. The more you use, the slower you have to raise and lower the temp. I have found that the worst breaks happen on the way down, so I take it at 50 dph. I know, it's slooow. but they don't break. On the way up, I start at 75dp...

i dont know why it wouldnt show up. a friend helped sharpen up my jpeg, which i guess turned it into a bitmap. sorry ... i have no idea how these things work. it's amazing i was able to finally post a picture. Thanks for the tips.. once again, the gold leaf burned up when I sandwiched it between 2 layers ( is going to 1450 too high?) .. oh well.. may try the gold foil. Thanks for all the input, fellow artisans! Yes, I am using real gold leaf, from Ed Hoy's. I know the fake 'stuff' doesn't work- I had already tried that, too. I use klyr-fire to adhere. ( like a glue) So, today I will try 2 layers of leaf, and no frit to separate the glass, and keep my fingers cros...

OH I forgot one thing.... I freeze my bottle water so it will help keep things cool in the cooler. It melts and then you have a real cold bottle of water to drink :lol:
