Thank you Brad and Tony. That seems interesting that the kiln wouldn't reach fusing temps with only the top firing. I am so dumb with anything electrical. Is it because of the size of the interior?? I think my existing kiln is about 3. 6 CU interior , it's a aim 2909 and has 16. 2 amps, side and 16....

I might be able to get a 13 year old Evenheat 2541-9 with Rampmaster2 .does anyone know if I can fire this using only the top elements??

working on a pc I want to attach a french cleat to, am planning on using MDF and using E-6000 or silicone......does anyone think there would be problem with expansion with wood creating stress on glass?? thanks for any input Sherry

I made a large draped pc. It's about ( or WAS) 13 1/2" tall, and the widest part of the drape at top was about 17" , narrow at bottom.....top heavy... I flattened the bottom using disc grinder .....yada yada, blah blah....it broke in the middle of the night. So now I'm starting over, this ...

I've only used BE, but it works much better using one reg one thin.
