Those that reverse engineer someone else's technique and then write an ebook don't necessarily know all there is to know about that technique. You miss out on all the knowledge of the originator....and that's not John Ferrando.

It is still more expensive than Slide but I would not use Slide on my Colour de Verre molds. They do recommend MR-97 and if you shop around you can find some pretty good prices. Laurie requires a minimum purchase on her site to get the lower price. I do use Slide on my stainless steel molds with no ...

I am ever so thankful for advice on this board. I recently "invested" 62.00 for 16 circles that range from 6" to 16" . They are made from bulletproof plexiglass. I don't need them that strong but that's what they offer. They cut them to the exact sizes I asked. Wonderful for tra...

The larger the frit size the less bubbles it will produce but you also end up with glass that has more clarity so you're going to see whatever bubbles are there. Colour de Verre has a worksheet for color mixing and tinting frit that may be of help.
