Go to your local newpaper printing company for end rolls of paper. This is the unprinted, pristine version of newprint. You can usually pick it up for next to nothing - here we pay $5.00 for end rolls of a 15-20" diameter. In CO, they begged us to take it away -- for free. This unprinted paper is no...

Brad found (good we hope) homes for them, which was an easy go. They were all cute - cute pups. I'm such a worry wart that I asked Brad to get names and phone numbers of the adoptive families and I will touch base with each of them before too long, to see how it goes. Jeeez.......I'm such a bleeding...

Aw-w-w-w-w......nice story and very apt. Sighs of utter contentment come forth when holding just about any kind of baby - little or big. The sadness in our new little puppy's life is that I found her and her 5 litter mates wandering alone, shivering and crying in below zero temps, just before dark. ...

By the way - that's one awesome beast of a kiln. Whatever are you going to cook up in that baby?

Ferro has a good selection of colors in a low temp - 400 F cure enamel that will not distort the glass surface. I looked for these Organic Bottle Coatings on their website, but it's not listed. They may have changed the name to this: http://www.ferro.com/our+products/glass/products+and+markets/spect...

I don't believe the general public is uninformed or uneducated (about art or anything else). Hmmmmmm - really?? Then why do representatives of the general public continue to ask us if it's plastic? Spotty (or barely an) education IMHO. The first thing anyone learns when being taught elementary sale...

Dave.......a friend of mine did this in his house, where he had complete architectural and builder control decision making powers. His house is a huge labor of love that he hand-built stick by stick and stone by stone. He put heat vents (drilled slots) in the wooden framework holding the glass panes...

Mr. Pressfield hits the mark adequetely! There's an enormity to learn and the more knowledge I possess, the more certain I am a novice. It makes no difference what you produce or what you price it at. The price a buyer is willing to pay will be governed by the buyers "perceived" or "believed" value....

Dennis, you've caught several tigers by the tail with your bait - LOL! ........40 minutes versus 10 minutes to create?? Personally, I relish and cherish those 40 min's or the month it takes or the entire year of thought and R&D it takes to make a piece of art that is worth making. The minute I schle...

Mike.......Spray A is mostly used on the top surfaces of glass to prevent devit.

Are you laying the sandblasted side of the glass down against the kiln shelf? Or are you firing the sansblasted area facing upward?

This is the most rigorous application process I have ever heard of for a state art guild application.

Either they've had severe abuses in the past or they are trying to raise the bar. WOW!

Lynne........it's a strong bet that the Spyware company has it's own tracker. But if it does, I'll take it. Locktite - the glass broke (not the glue joint) when I tried to pull the join apart.

I use the non-yellowing UV product with Primer N, which is a quick set catalyst.
