I'm going to try. Since it isn't a function piece, I'm going to just try to cover the crack with more frit and stringers.

fixing a crack on a tack fused/ slumped piece

I have a piece that cracked on cool down slump. The crack edges are sharp but only cracked halfway down. The piece is 13x6" 2 layers of clear with bubble powder and powder frit in between full fused. Decorations and frit tack fused on top. It was then slumped on a large stainless steel s-curve....

Kiln Shelf for a large kiln

I am in need of a new shelf for my 42" X 28" kiln. I currently have a fiber board that was treated with hardener. It cracked and has a few gouges that it needs to be replaced. I've researched found vermiculite boards, Kaiser boards, and fiber boards but have no clue on which one might be b...

That is how I do it Sherry. It adds depth to the pot melt too. I dam mine mainly to keep it contained.
