Make sure you get pottery plaster Number 1.

Its much stronger than regular plaster

Look at the very top of the bag of plaster and see if there are small hard balls of plaster.

These balls are plaster that has already hardened.

Sift them out. The rest of the plaster is fine.

they might be air bubbles in the mix. Tap the mix bucket down on a hard surface a few times to bring the bubbles to the surface.

Hello all, I have bought some 3mm panels of a generic low iron float and I want to fuse, slump and decorate them using various enamels. I'm not sure what temperatures to use. Does the low iron mean it fires more like bullseye/system 96 or should I just treat it like firing greenish float? (I know I ...

Those satin etch type products are not weather proof. Definitely for indoor work only! They might not even survive a dishwasher.
