PID controllers?

Been looking over the messages and don't see any mention of any use of the cheaper Asian PID controllers for ramp/soak for fused glass.Any specific reason,or people just use what comes with their kiln? I did make my own kiln and wont to upgrade to a newer controller for slower ramps/soaks than my ol...

Was wondering if anyone has used the software from http://www.temperaturecontrolwiki.com?
That or the software Fuji has (V1.0) for their PXRa controllers?

Thank you. Use nail polish remover to get rid of the devit after the first firing/slumping.If you're concerned about any chemical residue on the surface just rinse the glass with any dish water cleaner or the like. Thank you. Just one more clarification .If the work is after first fire (full fuse) and got devit, can I apply Borax and slump. Would it help to remove the Devit?
