Re: SandBlaster Gloves

Thanks, I am reluctant to cut a hole in my brand new gloves. Was hoping to find a replacement in a smaller size but guess not. I will keep plugging away with what I have til I get frustrated enough to cut the dang things off. #-o

SandBlaster Gloves

Whoo-Hoo. I finally got a sandblaster. Loving it but I have really small hands and was wondering if anyone knew where I could get a smaller size glove to fit my bench top Cyclone SandBlaster. I looked online but don't see any sizes listed. I am hoping there is something I can do so I can better hold...

Would love to know the answer to this too, hope you will report back. Are you using E6000?

That is exactly what I was looking for, what did you use? Did you create that piece from glass or is it a found hardware piece and did you glue the rod in then?

Re: Attaching a metal rod to Garden Art

Thanks Stephen, I had thought of something like this but decided I really didn't want to glue the rod in. Thinking ahead to shipping, would like the rod to be removable. I was thinking somewhere along the lines of having a strap glued to the back of the piece and sliding the rod in but am stumped on...

Attaching a metal rod to Garden Art

Hi all, first I want to say I have learned so much from the knowledge on this board and the wonderful books I have purchased written by some of the board members. Thanks to you all for sharing so much. I am getting ready for summer shows and wanted to add some garden art to my display this year. Thi...

Re: flip and fire and decals

Thanks everyone. I fire polished with the decals on last night and was happy with the results. Looks like they fired just fine--now I am slumping and hoping for the best. This is a shallow slump so the temp and time are not extreme and it doesnt look like the decals are in an area that will be stret...

Re: flip and fire and decals

Thanks Barry, didn't think of that part of it. But will the glass shine up under the decal if I add them to my flip and fire process?

Can I slump and fire polish my dish at the same time. Then add the decals and fire them while the dish is still in the slumper?

flip and fire and decals

First I want to thank all who contribute so much knowledge to this forum, the information I have learned here and in Brads book is invaluable. I am in the middle of a project and just had a thought--I fired my platter face down to keep the lines crisp, now I want to add a couple of decals--then I ne...

I have an HP P1006 which is one of the lowest prices HP carries and it prints decals just fine but I do use the HP brand toner cartridge--have tried the recycled ones and didn't work for me.

Re: Glue for jewellery-making

I have gone back to using E6000. Had strayed away and was using Tryolese (which I loved ) until I broke out in a rash and had scaling on my fingers where the glue had been in contact. Now I can't use it at all, I have developed some kind of reaction almost immediatly after the glue touches my skin. ...
