pitted shelf

Any suggestions on how to permanently repair a cpl of small pits in a mullite shelf? I have tried making a paste of kilnwash and putting it in with a putty knife, but it doesn't last.

Stainless ring mold

Made the mistake of using thinfire to line a ring mold for a strip circle..when it came out it is stuck in the mold..the glass is intact so dont think it is stuck to the steel just stuck. any ideas how to salvage this? I'm currently trying to reheat it a bit to see if the steel loosens.

Broken tempered glass makes beautiful objects, try going a bit hotter...1450 and see how it goes...float generally fires hotter than art glass.
