Re: New Panels

Really a wow factor there. I'm fascinated by the way our local surrounds and personality come out in our work. That picture against the mountains made me stare at the tall piece in particular and see where you're coming from, literally.Wonderful, and thank you.

Re: upcoming Susan Taylor Glasgow curated warm glass show

"Yipee. A show that will exhibit the difference between the medium and the voice.

Wish I could see it."
Yipee from me too. But I hope it doesn't have to be just text and photo imagery to be a voice. If any pics come up in the adds I hope to find them.

I think "etch" is the process as it is used for printing plates, as well as the light polishing, frosting, the shading and cut through design of flashed glass, and the deep "rotting" of Maurice Marinot. I"m just really glad that engraving hasn"t been put under etching as it often is.I'm working on a...

hi JJ, great to see, they have the feel of an impressionist painting. the city scapes and reflections as subjects fit the materials perfectly. I hope to see more as they come along. the usual steel and or wood stands wont do justice to them.a piece of natural slate with a groove cut into it , but I ...

new web site- engraver starts fusing

After engraving for years I've wandered into fusing. It sure means a lot of new work to learn but its opening up a whole new world for me and engraving. The book and boards have been great for a learner and very encouraging. Many thanks to all involved. Please take a look and comment. peter cummings...
