I arrange the pattern bars, etc., on the kiln shelf and have an entire 3mm design layer.Cap that with clear. Fire. When you mention that there 'should be an adjustment', you mean for the table, right? Not the fence. I can't find one for the table. I do, of course, have one for the fence.

I had also never had a problem with devit UNTIL I used Tekta with Thinfire. It wasn't always, which fooled me for quite a while, but I eventually figured it out. The only time I do have a problem, it when the two are combined.

The firepolish/slump worked great. I did watch it carefully. I can see how it would NOT work in a steep bowl mold or some other shapes. It really does depend on the mold. Tried to upload a photo, but I can't seem to get it to upload. Never used to have trouble with that...
