Fine Silver and BE White

I am working on a project with a very tight deadline. Has anyone used Fine Silver as an inclusion or next to Bulls Eye White? Does the white react oddly to the silver like the French Vanilla does?

As always, thank you for sharing your experience.

Yup, that's right. No grout. Each little square/tile that you see surrounded by white is a cut/slice from a murrine pull (a heated and stretched pattern bar) that was encased with white. The rest is a classic roll up. If you are intrigued by this techniqe, then check out the work of Dante Marioni or...

I asked the very same question some months back. Received some very fine advice, so I recommend checking the archives.

Light Oil-Not for Cooking

Hi all, Back in January I took Brock and Avery's class. Superlative! I recommend highly. Question though. For one of the techniques taught, we need to use light oil. The oil used in class was Sewing Machine Oil. Can anyone tell me what other light oils might be? I'm hoping for something that won't s...

I just purchased the 3M 6000 from fiberglass Supply. So far this is the lightest respirator that I have used. Seemed to be very reasonably priced and I received my order very quickly ($7.30ish for respirators and $5.30ish for filters). Bonus--my glasses don't steam up as much with this respirator. T...

Now Diamond Drill Bits

I'm just full of questions tonight. I want to know what kind of diamond drill bits to buy for drilling into 6mm thick glass. I have purchased some drill bits, but the diamonds are getting stripped off some of the bits. Is there a brand/type of diamond drill bit I should use (yes, checked bulletin bo...

Problem Slicing Pattern Bar

As I'm slicing through a pattern bar, when I get to the very end of the slice it cleaves and ruins the cut (and my need for perfection). I'm slicing on a MK 101. The water feed is working and everything appears fine, until I get to the very end and snap.

Your input is greatly appreciated.
