You need less CFM if you have a pressure blaster. There are small units that will do an excellent job but cheap ge...

Thanks Bert, The idea of loading the screen is elegant. I have screened on enough glass to have the other info, but have always struggled with not getting too much ink and the consequent smearing. I read the other thread too. Good info. Interesting that the topic came up twice independently at the s...

Thanks everyone for the feedback. I 'm having a 200 mesh screen made.
I couldn't get through to Reusche so that helped, along with the ratios. I remember needing a lot of paint but that really helps.

Smithsonian Show

I was glad to find this post, and the typical depth and honesty of Cynthia's writing. I wanted to ask the same question. It seems rather disappointing that work of a quality both to get into the most prestigious craft show in America and to inspire purchases by serious collectors (and which I person...

I'm teaching a class this summer in fused and stained glass. Would like recommendations on books with good information about kiln formed jewelry, as I have minimal experience in this area.

I frequently wash my blender with soap and warm water. I take it no one else has encountered this so perhaps ambient dust, but it seems to happen after several smooth dust free blending strokes, then dust seems to appear.

I have to tell you I feel laughed at here. Ha Ha.

Painters:Badger blender static?

One of my greatest frustrations in painting glass is the appearance of dust and hairs which seems to occur most often when using a blender. I remember in a physics class where the teacher rubbed a glass rod with some fur to give it a large static charge. Could this be happening with the badgerhairs ...
