Corning is really in the middle of nowhere, on the Pennsylvania border. The closest Southwest Airline city is Buffalo. Pittsburgh and Philadelphia make a triangle with Corning. Check out maqpuest for maps and driving directions. I found an airfare to Elmira for $270 (from Portland ME). The alternat...

Even though Rob's idea was my fav, we went with a re-fuse and call it done. It's still something Dave can take home and show off. I don't feel it is sturdy enough to try another slump, but as they say, "Dem's da breaks!!!!" Welcome to the world of warmglass. He was frustrated, yet happy. R...

Great melts, just the results I would wish for if I got around to doing some! Checked out your dollar; had identical results using sand. I call them "raviolis". Interesting!

Re: Floral form drape....help!!

My collection of "learning" projects keeps growing. ... I tried my first drape over a floral former (tall) and it actually worked. (10" square placed on top of form, with 7" square on top of that) (sys 96.) The only problem is that the top, smaller square fused to the larger,bot...

Good ideas, I'll pitch these to Dave and try to advise. The edges are sharp, so thinking about straight out fuse. Thought about breaking a bit more and then fusing to another background and calling it a mosaic in the italianate 1220's style of Antoine de'La Mosaaaiecs. I think he'd go for the idea i...

Not "needed", can do without. Depends if you want flat or "boat" shaped. I do both. Got my molds from Delphi.

Yes. Get your $5. Then spend it on a used osterizer or other blender with sturdier and/or larger blades! I got two at thrift shops after my first one went kaput. The next was cheapie and took forever. I couldn't wait for it to wear out; I caved and went to the osterizer. Can get lots made lots faste...
