it is far more humble..just for a base for my glass. I just want to customize the size/shape of the mirror.

Personally, I cannot imagine asking for a discount. I assume that the price was thought through. Why would I want to insult anyone? I think having a sign saying "Buy 2, get 10% off" is good, but of course it doesn't apply to commissioned work, unless the customer is thinking of two pieces,...

Just ran out and bought some clear dichroic stringer. (yes, my nearest supplier is open on Sundays!). On clear, you don't have the problem with them rolling..

Yes, keep it in the original mold. Otherwise you will unslump it.

thanks, Valerie! (I had trouble posting this photo for some reason.) anyway, here it's easy to see it's not woven glass, just a lot of stringer. this is a detail of a similar piece.

Bert, yes, I used two standoffs, from Hang Your Glass, for each piece of the group. Rosanna, what do you want to know?
