My favorite kiln is the one I built. But I had the pleasure of using a Scutt Clamshell for a few weeks and I love it. Both kiln and controller were perfect.

I would say the temp is somewhere under 800F but not sure where is best. I think shattering would be the biggest problem.

In any event I just added more water to the sump until the pump had enough pressure to hit the blade. Just curious what your solution was. Seems the tubes are too short.
