Hello, I'm interested in attempting a pot melt or screen melt. I've been researching this process on-line and see that the consensus for the high temperature is 1700f. I have a new Paragon Fusion 16 - love it!!! :D - with a max temp of 1700f. I'm very new to fusing, so I hope that these aren't #-o q...

I bought Amico 12 mm (.5 inch) bits - 2 bits for $8 from Amazon. I used them to drill through glass electrical insulators (about .5 inch thick glass). I got 10 holes out of one bit. I built a damn with plumbers putty around the area I wanted to drill, and filled the damn with Stained Glass Grinder C...
