Good Point Terry, What your suggesting is much as I feel. If you have someone with you to do the selling at your booth then you are the presence. I absolutely will not walk into a store with my work yet have not problem selling at a show. I think of the booth as my corner of the world or my territor...

Leslie, It is tough getting started isn't it! I've had a few excellent reps and some really bad ones. They can really be a help when you are getting started. I simply had a clause that said that if we terminated the realtionship the rep would continue to get a commission on all orders from their cli...

Yo Jim Thanks for the information. David and I can't wait to get those shelves, and as soon as we do we'll be singing their praise. We cut the damaged ones up and tried as dams for pattern bars and they worked fabulous, so here's another product size for you to offer:) Brad isn't getting the bubbles...

Hi Cynthia, yep I was excited too. Like I said afore this is EXPENSIVE!!!!! A 12"X12" is $75.00, it will ding and scratch so care must be taken and I'm thinking fairly fragile. They had a huge set up charge to make a custom shelf and believe me it made me do a rethink and I often ten...

Charlie, whilst you're correct that yes you could get extremely smooth molds when I talked with them about that it was cost prohibitive :( maybe they are changing their pricing posture on this. The set up charges were huge, even for a large single kiln shelf they wanted set up. ouch :? just read Bra...

Charlie, this is interesting stuff. it has been poured. Each time you use it you need to use a lambswool buff to clean it off. you can carve it. we sliced one shelf up to make dams and that works fabulous (used the one where the bubbles from the pour damaged the top surface) the one with the light s...

Yo Lani, I wanted to report on Glass Craft Expo which was a show of a different color on the other side of this rather huge continent in what felt like a completely different universe:, ah Las Vegas!). It was great seeing Mary Kay again instead of only on phone conversation. Sales were primarily for...

Aii Yii Yii, my first attempt at the board. Brad, I received two 12"x12" squares last October or November. This was in the first phase of Fusion Shield's product. They arrived with crumpled corners and all scratched up. I have been promised new shelves on at least 3 occasions when I've pho...
