Thanks Charlie,
That was it. So, I have the 60, 120, 220, 400 and the 800. I also see there is a 600 and a 1800. Does anyone use these 2?

Not sure what brand I have. They came as a set so I assuem that they are the same manufacturer.

The colors are Green, black, yellow, red and white. The green is the roughest, then the black, and the white I think if the finest. I am not sure between the yellow and red.

1) This infinate control does not work on a rate of degress per hr. It works on a percent of electricity sent to the coils. The higher the number the faster it gets hot. So, by setting it to 1 will not take you to 100° or up 100°/hr ect. It all depends where you are in the heat cycle ect. 2) Holdi...

Before you call an electrician contact Evenheat or some of the other kilns manufactures and see if they know of a kiln repair person inthe area. This is more of a mechanical repair than a electrical repair. Remember, you kiln is a box that gets hot, like an oven, and you would not call an electricia...

The problem with Durarock is that if you put it under the leg it will probally break from the weight. If you will be moving it to different places under the wheels like charlie said is probally best. If it will be stationary then you can do it under the legs or betweent he kiln and the shelf. Good l...

Carve then ridigizer. Or instead of cutting, take it to a shop that does laser cutting and have it cut by a lasor. That is what I did for the magnets that I did this year.

you can have the overflow run from the pan into a bucket of water, have the pump in the bucket of water but not on the bottom and then you will have it recycled with the glass pieces going to the bottom of the bucket and pan.

The difference in the controllers that were mentioned in the prior posting is not the difference between kiln manufactures. The difference is between controllers. Both manufactures use a 3 key controller with up and down buttons and then a 12 key controller. As a matter of fact, most of the controll...

I was at the ACC show today in Baltimore. I saw an artist there that had fused pieces of glass inside concrete/cement (don't know what it was) and then cold worked it to a high polish. Nice stuff, unfortunately the artist was not in the booth, just a helper that did not know the process.

Thin fire turns to dust basically after 1 firing. Fiber paper will last longer and not as messy. There are benifits to both, and times to use both.
