I've had my JenKen for about six years now and I LOVE it. However, my husband went and bought me another kiln (gotta love him!!) and it's a SKUTT. At first I was a little hesitant, because I just LOVE my JenKen, but now I prefer the SKUTT controller. I’ve heard BOTH have excellent customer care, b...

Check out the C&R Loo catalog, the main catalog. Around page 207 or 204, some thing like that. It's listed on the table of contents.

OHMY ... 40 % off ?! I have one, small, 6 inch square. I like it very much. I was a bit shy to spend big bucks on these myself, and I may buy another one, or two. They are VERY good, I really like the handle at the bottom, what a great idea. The little piece does sit quite flat... But are they worth...

Funny you guys should be talking about all this. I was just reading about art appreciation here in San Diego. San Diego has long had the slogan "America's Finest City"... It sounds as if they are trying to change that. http://www.signonsandiego.com/communities/envision/index.html Some wher...

Keep the minimum order low

Hi folks. I just had a retailer ask me if I was on http://www.wholesalecrafts.com, she said I should be, then bought some of my art anyway!! So I ran back to my PC to see what the folks on this board have said about the site. Anyway, this retailer suggested I get on there and she suggested I keep my...

Glass sinks can be undermounted. Of course, even still, the plumber must NOT over tighten that hardware. I made three sinks for a friend of mine. Two out of three are still there, four years later I may add. The one that broke, did so days after installation. I think it was the installation, I proba...

Gabriel is DEAD ON. My older ring saw will TOTALLY go through your nail if your not careful. When my nails are long, I've got to be careful. The saw will go through them so easily, then voila!! Short nail. Also, the spitting of the glass. On more than one occasion, I've had itty-bitty bits of glass ...

Because, I want someone who has been there to say, 'yes David, if you use this hardware in this way for this size piece, you won't have to lay awake worrying about your clients family dog being guillotined by your fabulous art-turned lethal weapon.' Or at least, 'David, here is where to get really ...

My plates are going on three years of constant use and dishwasher abuse. I've chipped a corner or two, mostly square plates. I wonder if the dish washer set's it's own "hot" water temperature, or if it just takes directly from what every one has their hot water set at? I keep my hot water ...

Wood. Are your tiles transparent, or opal?? I've hung a few pieces by using an epoxy to affix wood to the back of my "tile". Vary the thickness of the wood, depending on how far off the wall you want your piece, or how close to the wall. Depending on the look, I vary where and how much woo...

If clear glass is in the equasion some where, I would try UV glue. I've heard some folks just swear by it.

Also, I'd do a search, I know some folks were talking about glues not too long ago.

Way to copy a ceramic mold - time constraint

Hello, I have a customer that likes one of my glass pieces, so much she is buying 50 of them !! That's the good news. The not so good news is, I only have ONE mold and she want's all 50 rather soon!! I've been all over town looking for another mold. I'm afraid I bought it at a ceramics shop that clo...
