i would think that barring undercuts the foam could stay as one with the latex. otherwise a good coating of spray grease would probably work fine. i am putting this idea into my 'to try' file. rosanna

i wonder if the spray foam greg was talking about in another thread would make a good backing to stiffen up a cured latex mold. put it on before the mold is removed. rosanna

murphys oil soap works for me. maybe you will want to pull a latex type mold off your origonal so you can duplicate it if it gets damaged. rosanna

not stewart but, regular black iron pipe. NOT galvanized. also steel bolts with a large fender washer and a nut under that. i put a piece of fiber on top. rosanna

i just really have a problem believing that there is any water left in a shelf at softening temps. i put wet shelves in the kiln alot. no problems. rosanna

hi john, i have been having some problems with edges as well. not devit so much as little fissures or cracks on fuse. i wet sand these out for the slump and the edges fire polish out nicely. i did have devit problems and got rid of those by religiously cleaning the cut edge. you would think that it ...

another casual loop trick is to lamp work some glass strips into rings or U's and fuse those where needed for hangers. i make a double ring to get the glass to the preferred thickness. rosanna
