Aptly enough Kathie, the piece is named Rain Forest. Go to his site to see details of it - it's absolutely fabulous.

Doc, Doc, Doc . . . Goose

It just never ends with the Doc - look at this - this is the best yet. Help me persuade him that THIS is the Pilchuck piece!

I have gotten a request for a Vikings Helmet and a Green Bay Packers Helment . . . I refused both mostly because it required licensing the emblems but also because I REALLY didn't want to do it. I'll sell out for a price, but sometimes the price has to be pretty high. Well, of course you refused! M...

I respect your point of view, Andrew, and am guessing by your location that you get lots of "Loon" requests! I must argue though that just because the market for Kelly's work isn't huge in her location, then it just seems obvious to me that she should market it where there IS a deman...

Kelly, sometimes if I choose not to comment on a posted image it's because I feel the person still has a pretty long way to go design-wise before the suggestions I have will really help them advance their work. With your pieces, I feel like you are right there on the edge of putting out some fantast...

Well, yeah! What exactly is involved here Linda? This doesn't require any of Jackie's day spa hydraulic equipment, one hopes. Brock MY equipment? Mine? If I remember correctly, it was you , my dear friend, who so graciously pointed out the Vichey - Not that I haven't taken kindly to it . . .

Jim Wolverton wrote:A vibrating Barbie? Really? Are these intended for children or adults?

Jim
Well, unless you know grown-ups who want to brush their teeth with strawberry scented bristles, I would guess children.

There is quite a personal element to this but nothing you'd mind talking to your mother (or daughter) about.

You, my friend, don't know my mother! What a trip! She'd have no problem discussing the fact that this toothbrush vibrates . . . or anything else for that matter!

Jackie You're on track but I'm not sure you've detected the essential feature. Anything to add? R My not detecting the essential feature is no big surprise . . . Hmmm, lets see. It looks as though it may, ummm . . .vibrate, no? Perhaps it not only places powder, but sifts it in some fashion. If the...

I don't know what it is supposed to be for, but I'd use it to place powder exactly where I wanted it - in Jim's flagstone examples it would work great. What is it really for?

I think that point is valid Tim, except we all can pretty much look past that - we're not juriors. We all have had the same problems photographing our own glass and getting quality images. Besides, we'd be looking more for good design, an interesting statement made, a unique and well done process - ...

Could you be seeing just the seam rather than an internal crack? Often the "scar" remains even when there is no longer a crack.

OK Brock - I take back my previous suggestions. I was trying to figure out a way to soften the edges when I said try pinstripes and make them "float out" around the border. Now, keep in mind, all I have to do this with is a red-eye correction tool, and I've never done it before, but I tri...
