Claudia - it told you who they are when you go through the site. You needed to click on the #'d pieces at the left hand side of the screen and it brought up various information (who, what and why). The contact information said they are from Montreal Quebec.

This isn't really a pertinent post but I had a funny exchange with one of the lawyers at work today. He's currently connecting to the internet at home using high-speed phone connection and they are offering a virus-firewall service for something like $7.00 per month. He wanted to subscribe to the se...

I just noticed that you're located in Toronto - have you checked out Pottery Supply House in Oakville. They build kilns and have both ceramic and glass kilns.

I'm sure they can help you find what you want.

Hi Pete Can you tell us the logic behind having 4 candidates for an election of 4 positions please? Barb I'm sure Pete will answer for himself but having some experience with boards I thought I might have something to add. The entire board is not being replaced - only 4 positions are being filled. ...

I encourage a "no limits" approach. There is no magic firing schedule. Firing schedules will differ depending on, the kiln, color, thickness, desired texture, etc. My answer to a student who presents a concept is, "Let's try it" And that is the best lesson any student of glass c...

What's so wrong with a company like Bullseye offering certification in the use of its product? - Lani Lani - There is nothing wrong with it. In my opinion, it's great that Bullseye is taking the time to try and improve the quality of teachers. It is not up to any ONE company to try and ensure that ...

Re: Eureka

Well, I think I've solved the hazy irid sandwich problem. In short, it's the silicon carbide grit. After innumerable failures with silicon carbide (both 120 and 220 grit), I changed the grit in my blaster to 120 aluminum oxide and blasted, cleaned and fired the same way I had been. Came out perfect...

Luiza - We are all amazed at the things Tony can find on the web. He is truly a web investigator and he's surprised many of us at one time or another.

Now Tony, can you locate Mr. Bee the maker of the fabulous wet-belt sander made in Ontario for me?
