they are not on the bottom. it seems like it was air trapped in between the 2 layers of glass.

yes, it's my friend's kiln and she has used this particular program many times with no problems. it's supposed to be "slow full fuse" I just don't see how the air bubbles could have formed.

I do mosaics and I believe real mosaic artists use Mac glue for gog. I will check with some of my mosaic friends to confirm.

well CBS is now selling dichro dust, but it's very pricey. otherwise there would be no way to actually make sure the dichro side of frit is facing up, I mean how would you do that??? this is why I don't use dichro frit, even though I am a huge dichro fan.

I do stamping on fused glass often. I use mica mixed into hair spray. it's not perfect but it gets me where I want to go mostly. oh and I have had good luck with it not capped as well as capped.

I often fuse dichro without a cap. it looks wonderful! depending on what you use you can get really interesting texture. I would not use it for eating, only a decorative plate.
