OK: :oops: ](*,) Alcohol (just plain old rubbing???) Painted on the top piece of glass with nothing between the 2 pieces of glass?? Do you get any different results with any of the different colours (between or on top) or do they pretty well all fire the same way?? Have you tried brass sheets yet???...

Hey Judy: So I went to Michaels and got some Pearl Ex (Yikes!!! $50.00 here in Canada - did have my coupon so that helped). This weekend I want to give it a try. How do you guys feel about just tack fusing the stringers, etc. to the float (or even anything else not compatible to the stringers)??? Do you still think there will be stress cracks later on?? Example: BE stringers tacked fused to Spectrum glass.... :-k

It truly is amazing how glass can get me all emotional. As soon as I looked at the gallery pieces, my eyes teared up!!!!! Absolutely awesome.

Huh..... as I don't have a proper cold working tool (wet belt sander), I have had problems with my sides caveing in a little - giving it that fluted kind of look. How did you prevent that if you didn't use a WBS?? :? :?

Thanks so much Judy: I saw your pics and love the colours. I will also look to see what kind of foils they have even I bought a bunch from Bullseye. I also have bought a few packages of the copper wire mesh from Michaels, so I will try that with Pearl Ex too - see what happens. Anyways, thanks again...

So are you talkin' the Pearl Ex you buy at Michaels??? I just ran across it the other day. This is the first time I have heard of this. If so, I'm off to Michaels. Any other tricks with the Pearl Ex and copper or even no copper??

Hey Glenda: Hope your nice and warm (it's FREEZING here - minus 30 degrees - yikes!!! and you thought it was cold when you were here last year...) Brock: I just bought a small Paragon kiln (Caldera). Haven't used it yet - do you think I need to up my temps by around 100 degrees?? Suggestions??? Thanks
