Does anybody know how to buy ethylene glycol without any dye in it. It is used to winterize RV's but comes with pink stuff mixed in. This place has all sorts of chemicals. They have about 47 billion different kinds of ethylene glycol. I don't know which is which or even if one will suit what you're...

This guy sells on Ebay. He has some 104COE sheet glass.

I bought some from him to do something a bit similar to what you're doing, only I wanted to fuse millefiori to the sheet glass for jewelry.

becca Keep at it. In 7 years you'll have mastered it. LOL Did you buy enamels already mixed with medium? If so, how much did they charge for them? You can thin those with water. You don't need medium to thin them, although if that works, fine. I started out mixing large quantities of enamels and me...

First 'real' gig and paint results
This is the results of the Thompson's screening and painting paints that I used yesterday. It's for my first 'real' commission piece. Well, money will change hands if approved. The guy says to me 'she's turning 21, likes pastel colors and I have X amount of dollars.' I hope he approves it anyway, I ...

A-14
Anybody been using Thompsons A-14? I was using it today with the screening and painting paint and it seems like it's taking forever to dry. Probably because I have to slump this tray and be done by tomorrow. Any harm in firing it a bit wet?

Oh my! I don't think you charged enough. Chip, Brad excellent job!!! Thanks to all those who...

Aha! I knew I was missing a simple solution. I had the pump in a bucket of water with a small flow, but never thought to raise the pump off the bottom of the bucket to recycle the water. Thanks! I too do the tile saw thing in the backyard. The spray isn't too bad on mine, but it seems like it...

Submersible pump solutions?
I may be missing something very obvious, but how do those of you with tiles saws with submersible pumps deal with the water issue? Keeping running water going is a huge waste and it seems like every few minutes I have to empty the pan and find a sloshing place for glass grit water. I only got it a f...

Don't waste your money... I bought one to try and couldn't get through a half dozen maglesses before the can froze up... very frustrating to use. Tony I second that. I thought the best part about it was the directions for making a blasting box out of cardboard. If Tony was able to get throug...

I recently used a tumble-vibe to get some stange devit crystals off of some cabs that I left in Lime-Away too long. It worked for that, and I tumbled them for about 4 hours a day for 3 days and 1 overnight out in the garage. I did it that way because I can't stand all the noise. Being gone or sleepi...

If you're going to Venice you might try Casey Key beach right down the road a ways. Beautiful beach and weekdays it used to be fairly empty. Some days you can find prehistoric sharks teeth washed up. There is/was the most gorgeous humungous Banyan tree on the left before the Key entrance. I've been ...

Here's some more. Maybe a little less expensive. Check out the square tubes 2x24. They're on sale for .99 each. http://www.jcdanczak.com/our_products/cat_7.html
They sell hanging caps too which may be a good storage option.
