Would those of you who are using Excel be willing to share your column headings and any particular tips for inventory success?
Thanks,
Alecia

Electric Glass Cutting Saw
Yes, the Inland tile saw will easily cut through 3 layers of fused glass. I'ved done it plenty of times. I frequently make earrings in strips, cut them apart with this saw, then fire polish them. No problem. Pattern bars are often an 1 1/2 inch thick. That is too thick for this saw. You can find out...

I followed the link you provided, thanks, that was a big help. QuickBooks does track inventory in the Premier edition. That's the one that allows for five simultaneous users. And Sam's Club sells for the rock bottom price of $350. That's a lot of horse power for little ole' me. Does anyone use a sim...

Electric Glass Cutting Saw
What you want to get is the Inland 10670 Tile Saw. It comes with a 7" diamond blade for about $200.00, if I remember accurately. The water reservior is another $12.00 or so. It cuts straight lines in fused glass for about half the cost of a ring saw and is much faster than a ring saw. But is no...

Also, my accountant wants me to do a better job tracking the component material costs of my pieces. Would Quick Books help with this?
Thanks,
Alecia

Interesting info with Credit Cards
With Debit Cards the money is not actually removed from your account when it is held on reserve, it is just not available for your use. The other thing to remember about Debit Cards is that you do not have the same legal rights that you have with credit cards; things like protection against bogus ch...

Making holes
Sorry to be a late reply. I just joined the list. I bought my drill press at Home Depot, the drill was included with the press. I buy the hollow-core diamond bits from Rio Grande. To drill with water: I place a large plastic lid on the base plate to protect the metal from from the wet sponge that la...
