Heat it in your kiln to 550-turn off kiln, pull the hot mold out carefully with pliers. Lay it on a drop cloth that won't burn or melt to catch overspray. a couple wood or kiln brick bits will raise the mold off the surface. I used one for a while that was hooked to a water hose so the ground glass washed into a big settling bowl. There isn't a cloud of dust because of the water. You can dry the frit in the kiln. It worked fairly well for at least 100 pounds of glass before the blades wore down. There is a lot of that m...

Dura board and fiber board are the same thing, aren't they? Real soft- and like foam. Shape them with a spoon?

You want to cut some really thick glass- how about a tile saw? Bandsaws for glass are good for 1/4 inch, maybe.
