You cannot copyright a broad idea any more than you can copyright a title. For example, it would be difficult to own copyright to slumped bottles. Brian, I agree with you that these boards are invaluable and am astounded that many teachers don't include info about them in their syllabi. In fact, in the college classes, I build in assignments around internet research including searching for information in BB archives to answer certain questions...
