Re: bubbles

I am so incredibly sorry for not responding. In the past, whenever somebody responded to me, it sent me an email telling me so. And i didnt receive any emails this time, so I assumed that nobody responded. I just logged on to warmglass.com today just to make sure, and i saw everybody's responses. Th...

glue

Curious if anybody knows of a glue that adheres glass to metal that they think is terrific. I've been using a few glues that are pretty good, but looking for one that is unbelievably good.

Thanks,
Drew Kates

Re: Spray A

Thanks so much. I fired at full temperature. I think i may have applied too much Spray A. I think spraying it on will be a better choice than brushing it on.

Spray A

I am having some devitrification problems when i fire Bullseye cobalt blue glass. I purchased Spray A, and applied it will a brush, but it left some white streaks after firing. I'm trying to find the best way to apply the Spray A. I'm thinking that perhaps i should spray it on, rather than brush it ...

kiln wash sticking

All of a sudden my kiln wash is sticking to my pieces of fused glass. Not sure why. I've been using the same kiln boards and kiln wash for years, and it never used to stick. Now it's sticking. Not sure why. Could it be because the boards are getting older? I'm using the same kiln wash (from Bullseye...

glass breaking

i have been fusing small pieces of glass for many years now (1.25" square, between 3 and 5 layers of 3mm Bullseye fusible glass). I've had no problems until recently. Some of my glass has started to break off, and i'm not sure why. Somebody told me that it may be because of the thickness of my ...

Re: firing problem

yes, the elements are glaring red. My kiln repairman is coming by tomorrow. He has already checked to make sure it's pulling the correct amps, and it is. He is checking the volts tomorrow. Is there anything else to check while he's here? I chatted with Bert Weiss, and he feels that if it is pulling ...
