Re: New Alchemy / Silver Experiements
Still playing with silver foils and alchemy and French vanilla ! oh so fun. I might slump shallow this time for broader affect. Good to have a show with all shapes and sizes . My goal is 12 large vessel forms but will even try for 20. Hmm

phpNnIP2JPM.jpg php7Sf6P6PM.jpg phppAmYSwPM.jpg Working on a silver and French Vanilla fumed large deep slump vessel also which will be really interesting as the outside will look so very different from the inside. Will try to get a photo when done but will take a few weeks to finish all slumps.

I have been playing a lot with the new Alchemy glass and am really enjoying the different reactions one can get and when deep slump, the silver is stretched and torn and gives some really interesting affects

Re: A triptych
I think a lot of gallery's are incredible and help us to get our pieces shown in the world. I have a lot of really good things to say about the hard dedicated work they do and how they go the extra mile to promote our art. So perhaps I come from it from another angle. With out the gallery's who have...

The silver chemical transformation of colours look so different when put with different base colours and colours under and over. I have a birds nest also that just fired and the chemistry of the Alchemy with the silver is so exciting. phpaZP22uPM.jpg phpVp5We8PM.jpg ( this piece slumped nicely and w...

New Alchemy / Silver Experiements
I am having a wonderful time playing with the new Alchemy glass and have been amazed at all the possibilities and cannot sleep because I am so excited. Each layer is a different reaction all the way from Deep bronze to purple to a soft gold and silver ( best results with the 1401 crystal clear for s...

Re: A triptych
Havi, these are such a new direction which I would follow as they are excellent and I wish I could see them in person. =D> I love the idea of creating 2 more to go with the first panel. What a journey you must have taken to create this wonderful piece of art glass. =D> Stay Safe and think of you oft...

Re: Books from the Light Reading series
Are those beauties filled with glass stories. Wow Bob, just incredible. I LOVE the lay out and it does remind me of a day of writing grants and things, Books everywhere. I wonder if we opened one and what words of wisdom would be written upon the glass. Les

Re: Creating Deep Slump Reactive vessel
So important to get a professional photographer to take a photo of Light Eating the Glass!! My old camera is so awful and more for just documenting , but a professional can bring out all the colours and the light playing with lines and colours.
