When I used the new bit I could see the channel as a cloudy ring around the cab because it ground into the clear. Am I doing something wrong? I have it placed as low as I can get it. Yes, using a channel-grinding bit for this.

Well, it was a 2 day class. 10 hours altogether. I am concentrating on just the one type of project for now as I basically took the class so I would be able to set my cabochons in a bezel. I think anything else at this point would be quite a strech for me but can't wait till I am finished my seasona...

I don't know if any lampworkers are capping czs. You may have a compatibility problem there...

I don't cap my cz's but I do know many other lampworkers do. Some cz's break, some beads crack. Size seems to be a factor. I would be interested to hear how it works out when fusing.
