Re: Mistakes and Taking Risks

This work says, "feathers, sky, freedom, nesting, afternoon, sunlight, clouds, flight, safety, twigs, straw, home, health, life, motion, rest, Leslie." I would love to meet you and see your work in person. I will be in Alaska in June and then Northern California in July, with no time to vi...

I wear cotton liner gloves. The wool lining on the Zytec gloves irritates my skin also.

Your work is intriguing. I agree with Nina, and want to see larger images, and more of them. When I look at Blue Cocoon, Green Patch and Season Changes, it would be good to see not only larger images, but details and photographs from the other sides. Great start!

Re: Suicide, along with all other hot topics.

We each hold on to our life with such tenacity, it is horrifying when someone throws it away. Mental illnesses, brain tumors, or substances issues can all be culprits. Those left behind are always left with painful questions. I am sorry for your loss, Haydo.

Oritt,
The nest is lovely and well photographed. There is a luminosity, timelessness, and simplicity, which is so calming.

If you want to use 90 coe glass, Uroboros makes a machine rolled smooth glass, which is compatible with Bullseye.

Hmm... I buy the 1.4mm diamond coated triple ripple drill bits from Abrasive Technology for five times the cost of THK 1.5 mm diamond coated twist bits. Has anyone tried their small twist bits?

Re: A new tool for drawing with powder or fine Frit

There are so many different colors and COEs of glass that we work with. If they are refillable, I think you should market them to glass artists empty. And yes, it would be better if they worked with the fine frit, not just powder. Would it even be possible to make one to work with the medium or coar...

Re: Shipping large piece-best way?

The cost of crating and shipping must be included as part of the commission fee. My partner and I built three crates, out of baltic birch plywood, when I had to ship 9, 24" x 48" fused glass panels across the country. We rented a Ford Excursion, and the size of the crates was determined by...
