I am making a sink and interested in experimenting with mica...unfortunately my airbrush needs repair. How else can I apply Pearl Ex? On top of glass? Between layers? Dry? or painted on? What is best?

Thanks for replies this a.m...Would you advise then using Thompson Enamel first on clear float, firing, then applying mica (airbrushing), capping with another layer of clear float and refiring? Final thickness will be 5/8 for a sink...I hope...Is there a problem with doing this in stages...Each piec...

Do mica powders have to be compatible with the glass...example....Can I use any mica on float glass? What is the best way to apply it? Should it be used between two layers of glass?

Fused an 18 " diameter blank, 1/4 inch thick, clear BE with different colors strips of transp. and opaque....fused gr8......Then experimented with covering the surface with hanovia SP rainbow luster..to get a peralized look but all I got was peralized disaster.......fused up to 1300 per instruc...

I want to cut 1/4 BE clear circles 18" in diameter for making a sink. Tried using the Patty Grey method (as I do with 1/8 glass but ..... :lol: no way)..So, I cut it on my saw. Very hard to keep it perfect circle as with a circle cutter. Is there a better way? Are there special tools for workin...

I would be interested in hearing more about "how to" fuse the pieces together . I have also made quite a few this season and not finding a glue that is really strong enough to take the abuse when cleaning off the wax from the candles. Both GE and uv come apart. Would appreciate any help. H...
